I recently got a message that my tax code has changed. Checked the app and it shows I have a new employment with a company called EVALDAZZZ LIMITED that I resumed in July, 2024. I don't have a new employer. Infact, I have been working with the NHSP for over a year now. I don't understand this business about a new employer that has led to a change in my tax code. I've called HMRC but they keep ending my calls, saying all their agents are too busy. I've also sent a complaint but I'm yet to receive a response. Glad I found this forum. Anyone have an idea how this is possible and what I can do?

Hi, I have had same issue with this company, as have many other people in UK. Report it to action fraud uk. The more people that Report it the quicker they can be investigated

I too have had a mysterious employer affect my UC claim recently. Employer: supposedly "paid me" but they don't exist in my world I have no knowledge of who they are or what they do. And no funds that they claim to have paid have ever reached my bank account either, I have a bank statement to prove this.. I am unemployed and reported this on 5th September, 2 days after it was announced as I tried to contact my former employer and the company managing its liquidation before hand to establish the facts to find out if the supposed funds were sent by either and they assured me they didn't know anything about this, nor send any monies. Since the 5th I've made 2 further telephone contacts to report this and am still waiting for this to be resolved. Any ideas on how to get this resolved quickly please?

Hello, I've also had the same issue where someone has incorrectly informed HMRC that I'm working for this company. I contacted HMRC a fortnight ago over the phone, and once again since to ask for an update. As yet HMRC haven't removed this employment and won't give me a timeframe for when the issue will be resolved. I was also told that HMRC don't know who gave them the incorrect information. I find it surprisingly unprofessional that an unknown person can make changes to my HMRC employment record without any investigation, but when I try and correct my own details, they're unable to do anything except tell me the issue will be investigated. Since HMRC don't have a record of who gave them the incorrect information, I thought I'd make my own enquiries to help them out and speed up the process. Were any of you registered with the employment agency RL recruit? I suspect someone from this agency has lied to HMRC following a dispute over holiday pay. If not, have any of you registered with any other employment agencies recently? Thanks
