I have a workplace pension, which operates with a salary sacrifice scheme. However, I can make one-off payments to the workplace pension from my already taxed income. Do such payments (into a workplace pension from taxed income) also trigger the same tax relief as payments I can make into a SIPP?

Hi

Yes.  The pension provider will claim tax relief from HMRC and you in turn declare the one off payments in your tax return, if you need to complete one or in writing to H.M. Revenue and Customs Pay As You Earn BX9 1AS, with supporting evidence in cases where a tax return is not required.

Thank you
