3 of my payslips had wrong amount which was submitted. Our Payroll Team have corrected the error and issues amended payslips however the amount on my HMRC account is still showing as the old one. Could you please advise how this can be updated. I have sent the new and old payslips together with cover letter but when I contacted HMRC they said that is not enough. Our Payroll team has contacted 03002003200 (as that was the number HMRC gave me when i spoke to them) however they are unable to assist. On our Payroll side the records are all fine and shows the correct amounts however somehow it is not synchronising. I have tried to call HMRC multiple times but cannot be even connected due to technical issue on the line (for the past 2 days). Much appreciated

Updates to your income information may take a short amount of time to appear on your record, after which me may need to rereconcile the years affected to correct your overall tax liability for each year.
Contact us by webchat or post via Income Tax: general enquiriesto allow us to check your record for these updates.
If they are not yet present, the Employers department should be able to advise your employer's payroll office of any steps needed - they can be contacted via Employers: general enquiries
If the Employers department are unable to progress the update, please specify any reasons given - this will allow us to help you further.

Hello, thank you for coming back to me. It’s been few months now and my payslips are still showing the wrong amount on the HMRC website but correct amount on our payroll. Our payroll manager has tried contacting the Employer Helpline on multiple times but has been offered no assistance: simple being told that they can only discuss the company PAYE and not an employee. Please advise next steps as my yearly amount on my P60 is correct but the months haven’t been updated. Thank you!

Hi, I have also contacted the income tax team on multiple occasions to be told that they cannot do anything.. I am really stuck for almost a year now. This has resulted in my career allowance claim being rejected due to HMRC records not being updated even though they have the correct payslips. Could you please advise next steps as I really would like to resolve the matter as soon as possible.
