Overseas interest income

Hi, My husband has overseas interest less than GBP 1 from foreign bank savings. He does not have any other income except that overseas interest income. Does he need to report it to HMRC? Thank you.

Your husband can check if he meets the criteria for Self Assessment at Check if you need to send a Self Assessment tax return
