If UK capital gains received during 2022/23 are documented as being below the £12,300 limit, another are no other capital gains for that year, does this need to be reported anywhere? If yes, where and how?

"To clarify: if this info needs to be reported, please tell me exactly where (i.e., in which box and on which form)?"

Hi

If you are required to complete a tax return for any reason and the disposal value of the assets were more than £49200, then you must declare it in the tax return, even if no capital gains tax is payable.
If you do not meet both of those criteria, then there is no requirement to declare the gain.

Thank you

Hi Frazzled,

If this refers to UK residential property you don't declare it. if any other gain,  please refer toSelf Assessment: Capital gains summary (SA108)

Thank you.
