Hi I have recently elected that my dividend from an overseas company (Santander bank) be paid as shares rather than cash. Does this need to be declared anywhere on my SA from. Usually I put the cash dividend under the 'interest and dividends from uk banks, building societies' page in box 6 but I am thinking this will be an eventual capital gain upon sale of the shares rather than income? Thanks

No you do not show it until you sell them.
Thank you.
