On my Self Assessment page, I tried to change the method for delivery of documents from "Post" to "Online". I entered my e-mail address and clicked the button to submit the information but did not the verification code by e-mail. I tried twice before giving up. I tried the online help for technical issues but the chat bot did not understand my issue at all. Who can help me with this issue?

Hi gerhardp,

Please find below steps that should help,
1.    select the radio button though my HMRC Online account’
2.    enter email address
3.    select the agree to terms and conditions
4.    select continue
5.    enter email account
6.    select agree to terms and conditions
7.    select continue – an email will be sent
8.    select on the link in the email to verify email address
9.    select continue
Any further issues please  select ‘Get help with this page’ & explain the issue in detail to the Digital team.
