I use the HMRC App and it normally shows the next 8 weeks payments, there appears to be no future payments after 29th August yet I’ve not been advised that my payments are stopping. Also says my renewal has been automatically updated so that’s not the issue. Has this happened to anyone else? Tried calling HMRC but end up on hold for 45mins & having to cancel call.

This has also happened to me. It now states on mine that there are no payments due. My renewal has been processed and my circumstances haven't changed. I don't have the time to be on hold on the phone for ages and the digital assistant is no use for this matter.

I have the same issue

I have been checking my account on the HMRC app, "no payment due" has been showing for the last week. It is no longer possible to live chat with staff and we are expected to call the helpline. The wait is so very long...

Mine is same and now worried I won’t be able to feed my kids, etc. I have spent more time on hold this week than I can count and have to see to my kids. I’ve checked again and still saying no payments

I have exactly the same and I’m due my payment tomorrow. I got an updated renewal letter in April saying what my payments will be this year. Doesn’t make sense as I still have 3 children on my award, the only change is one of my kids is off to uni. I’m really worried I won’t get my payment tomorrow. Has anyone else got their payment even though it’s saying no payments due?

I just managed to speak to someone was on hold for 45 minutes. I've already been over paid by £200 and won't be receiving anything until next April 2024. Also the letter confirming this takes approximately to weeks. God knows how I'm going to survive until then.

Patrice Rowe what reason did they give you about witholding tax credits until April 2024? What are you meant to do in the meantime... hibernate?

Payments are now showing in app. I hope this helps.

Did anyone work out what happened? I’ve had this problem but instead of it showing now payments it’s telling me that I can not use this service and that my tax credits details are now available on line. It’s really stressing me out as I can’t get through to them.

Hi leoniebx Bordaen,
I’m not sure what issue you are having here, what service are you trying to use?
I suggest you would be better ringing the tax credit helpline so that they can check the situation of the claim.
Thank you.

Mine is doing the same when I rang up the lady said so many people are having this issue and that she can see my payments being due and when they are and read them out. It is pretty scary seeing no payments due on the app.

I don’t understand what’s happened it says I can’t access my tax credits online and to call the office. I’m so worried about this as I haven’t had a migration letter or nothing but I can’t access tax credits

I've had no payment this week and it is saying in the app that I cannot use the service. My daughter has continued in full time education but it was a bit last minute. I think we got the renewal in on time but now I'm concerned. Working tax credit is not there either though, does anyone know what's going on?
