RE: Cannot see CGT Tax paid
Hi
If you paid the CGT due on the disposal of your property by creating a 'Capital Gains Tax on UK Property Account', you can obtain confirmation that your payment has been received by logging back on to your account.
Please see CG-APP18-100 - Part 1 Accessing the Capital Gains Tax (CGT) on UK Property Account

RE: Self employment - registration and WHT issues
Hi Olbel
1. Any Foreign Tax Credit Relief claimed will be shown in your tax calculation as a credit against the UK tax charged on your foreign income.
2. You should wait until you have actually received the anticipated foreign income before applying for a CoR.
Please see INTM162020 - UK residents with foreign income or gains: certificates of residence: information to be supplied with a request

Yes, the appropriate exchange rate would be the one relating to the 'fund distribution date'.

RE: Foreign Tax Credit Relief on overseas dividends
Hi Anne Fendley
The drop down is for the rate applied in the country the dividends arose as this is the maximum you can claim should your dividends be taxed at a higher rate in the UK.
If only liable at 8.75% then this will be applied in the calculation.

RE: Re-register using CWF1 after becoming director?
Hi
Your self assessment record is not set up to deduct class 2 national insurance.
To change this, you will need to contact the NIC helpline on 0300 200 3500, to pay the 22/23 class 2 NIC and to updated self assessment to collect class 2 NIC in future tax years.
Thank you
