RE: Personal Tax Allowance and Student Loan
Hi,
On your employment page online it asks if you want to claim expenses while working for the employment. If you answer yes to this question it will open the expenses section were you can claim the expenses that increased your tax code to 1263L. If you received taxable benefits that were not taxed through your payroll then you should have received a form P11d that gives a breakdown of the taxable benefits. On the employment page you would answer yes to the question Have you received any taxable benefits and expenses payments. This will open the benefits section to declare the taxable benefit information from your P11d.

If you are unable to put through the marriage allowance transfer online then the individual making the transfer will need to contact HMRC to review.

RE: State Pension and how to record on self assessment tax form
Hi John,
Your state pension is paid four weekly so will be based on the 13 payments due and the department of works and pensions will notfiy HMRC of the amount.
If you want to check the amount you can contact the department of works and pensions on 0800 731 7898, Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm.

If you have an online account you should be able to access your tax code for the previous tax year to check. If unable to locate this online you can contact HMRC to check for you.

RE: Underpaid tax for earlier years in your tax code for 2022-23 - explained
Hi,
If you paid the balance in full then would not have been collected in your tax code. If you made an entry in error once recevied the tax return would be amended to remove and the calculation updated accordingly.
On the tax return if no underpayment collected in your tax code it will show 0.00 in that box and you would not need to amend.

RE: Tax not showing in my HMRC app
Hi,
If you have changed payroll number within your employment then they would need to notify HMRC online to update your record. If still not showing on your online account I would contact your payroll department to check they have notified HMRC and if notified but not updated contact HMRC to review.
