Yes, you can have it all tax in Jersey once you submit the double taxation claim form. You would need to contact the tax authorities in Jersey to ask how it would be taxed.

RE: Renting out only property to rent out another property
Hi,
The income generated from renting out your property is subject to tax. The fact that you have chosen to use this money to rent elsewhere is your decision and to meet your own personal needs and would therefore not be exempt.

If you receive income from FHL in the European Economic Area (EEA) you must complete the SA105 UK property pages. If you want to claim Foreign Tax Credit Relief on any foreign tax paid on your EEA FHL fill in the section ‘Foreign tax paid on employment, self-employment and other income’ on page F6 of the Foreign pages.

Hi,
To declare unequal shares in property held between you and your wife a Form 17 would need to be submitted-
Evidence is required to support a Form 17, a Deed of Trust is one of the types of acceptable evidence.

This guidance also advises ‘the full amount of your mortgage payment — only the interest element of your mortgage payment can be offset against your income’ however please see guidance on the same link Changes to tax relief for residential property, ‘From 6 April 2020 Income Tax relief on all residential property finance costs is restricted to the basic rate of Income Tax.’

These which advise, if you own a property jointly with another person who is not your spouse or civil partner your share of the rental profits or losses will usually be based on the share of the property you own, unless you agree a different allocation. Unfortunately I cannot advise on personal situations, only provide the guidance for your interpretation.
