RE: Mailing Address for Filing SA109
Hi
You can send it to either address.
BX9 1AS is the main address for Self Assessment post, NE98 1ZZ is the address used by couriers.
Thankyou. -
RE: Remittance basis and arising basis
Hi Chang
If your foreign income is solely from Hong Kong then you do not declare this to HMRC.
If from anywhere else then yes you will need to completeSA106 and SA109.

RE: Carrying forward CGT loss
Hi
Losses that occur in the year must be used first even if that means you dont get the full use of your annual exempt amount.
For your scenario, as your losses are less than your gain, you will be using all of these before using any of the annual exemption.
You can still carry forward the previous years loss of £2229 to later years.
Thankyou. -
RE: Second job tax
Hi Matt168
If you are using the full personal allowance against that job, it won't need to change.
If you are going to earn less than the full personal allowance on that job, we can split the allowance between the two jobs.
You can update the estimated earnings for each job through the Personal Tax Account and your code will be updated if required.
Thankyou.
