Hi, I can't find my PAYE Tax Coding Notice for 2024-2025. Is it possible to get another copy or access it online? I need this to check if I have underpaid Tax for my self-assessment. Thanks

Is anyone able to help with this?

Hi David,
You can view you 2024/2025 current year tax code via your Personal Tax Account - just go to gov.uk and search for 'Personal Tax Account'.
If you need advice on any previous years' tax codes, contact us by webchat or phone via Self Assessment: general enquiries
Thank you.

Hi, I have my code but I'm after my coding notice. I'm filling in my Self Assessment and need to fill in the section relating to if I have over paid or under paid tax which is found in your Coding Notice. I can't find this information anywhere else. I am pretty sure I haven't over or under paid but would like to confirm.

I have the same query. I've clcicked to my Account. Thare six options including PAYE etc.
I can't see my current tax code under any ofthem - wher eshould it be?
Please provide more compehensive instructions than just "go to gov.uk and search for 'Personal Tax Account'."

Hi Pedr0HM
Once you are logged in to your Personal Tax Account (PTA):
  • click on Pay As You Earnm (PAYE) section
  • click on check current tax year/hyperlink >
  • scroll down and click on (i) Understand your tax code
this will then show you the allowances you are entitled to, the tax codes against all sources of income and how made up.
Further details that can reviewed or actioned via the Personal Tax Account can be found at Personal tax account: sign in or set up
Thank you
