Hi there - I am struggling to understand underpaid tax included in PAYE coding: For previous tax year 20/21: - system says I have”paid the right amount of tax”, BUT - I received a message saying I owed c.£800 - and my tax code at end of year 21/22 was a K tax code with c£6500 added to my account, presumably to reflect the £800 I owe from previous tax year What if anything do I therefore enter in my self-assessment for underpaid tax for earlier years included in my tax code for 2020/21? - 0? - the c.£800? - the c. 6500? I am assuming it is the c.800 figure? Any advice most welcome!
