I cannot find this postcode when I want to purchase the postage online. What can I do?

Hi, BX9 1AS is an artificial post code and it is not on the Royal Mail database. Letters received at BX19 1AS are opened, scanned and distributed to other HRMC offices. Gov.uk website says that for couriers a physical address should be used. Check https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/hm-revenue-customs/contact/couriers Hope it helps

Hi Phoebe Chan,

There is also a link at the bottom for 'Couriers' and you can use the address shown there.
Courier deliveries to HMRC: PO box and BX postcodes

Thank you.

I've twice posted Penalty Appeals to BX9 1AS, using Royal Mail "signed for" first class. In both cases, Royal Mail tracking indicated that these have not been signed for, more than a week after posting. Is HMRC accepting post and not signing for it? I am very anxious to know that they have arrived, since there is a limited time period to file an appeal.

What city associated to BX9 1AS should we insert, when asked on the Royal Mail website ?

Hi,
There is no need to insert the city. The postcode is enough.
Thank you
