Are BNO Visa holders from Hong Kong obligated to pay tax in foreign income?
Good afternoon Sir/Madam, Do BNO Visa holders from Hong Kong have to pay taxes on their savings, insurance and fixed assets in Hong Kong if they arrive in the UK on the 3rd of April, 2024? Do they have 5 years that are fax-free to transfer all their foreign income to the U.K.? Thank you

Are citizens of the United Kingdom deemed non-domiciled residents?

Taxes on foreign income & overseas inheritance for non-domiciled citizens before April 6, 2025
In 2017, my cousin and his wife relocated and retired to the UK, but they are non-domiciled citizens and have never worked in the UK. If my cousin and his wife transfer their entire cash to the U.K. before April 6, 2025, will they need to pay tax on their past savings and money from the Hong Kong inheritance estate that they sell? Your reply would be greatly appreciated. Martins Family -

Your prompt response is much appreciated! Hong Kong's Blue Chips are where the dividend originates from. Selling all the blue chips and transferring all the money to the UK is their plan. Thank you Martins

How to pay tax without a National Insurance Number
My cousin and his wife have been living and retiring in the UK since 2017. They have never worked in the UK before. Despite his wife being given National Insurance, my cousin hasn't applied for his own NI. Does my 70-year-old cousin have to apply for their own NI to pay taxes on their inheritance from Hong Kong, please?
