Hi,
UK resident and domiciled individuals are subject to tax on their worldwide income and gains on an arising basis; this is regardless of the tax-exempt status in India.
Foreign Tax Credit relief is available in respect of tax deducted at source on NRO accounts and you can claim the 15 % for NRE accounts.

Hi,
There is the possibility that you may have UK capital gains tax to pay. You will need to work this out.
All figures must be in pounds sterling and use exchange rates that were relevant at the time of acquisition and disposal.
If the property was your main residence at anytime, you you should claim private residence relief, as well as the annual exempt allowance.

RE: Working remotely in Germany from UK
Hi Nomana,
Your German employer will do what they need to do for employees, based in Germany. They do not need to do anything in the UK. You will have things to do.
You will need to register for self assessment below and declare your foreign employment income in a tax return.
Check how to register for Self Assessment
You will also need to request a certificate of residence at:
How to apply for a certificate of residence to claim tax relief abroad
You would then need to contact the German tax authorities to arrange for your employment income to be paid without deduction of German income tax. The German tax authorities may have other documents you will need to complete. You should contact them for more advice.
Thank you.
