RE: Significant break from overseas work
Hi,
A ‘significant break’ is considered a period of at least 31 consecutive days during which you do not work more than 3 hours per day, and the absence of work is not due to annual leave, parental leave, sick leave, or reasonable days off. as yours is annual leave, this doesnt count.

Hi,
The pension would be taxed in the tax year that the pension provider was due to pay them.

RE: Tax on savings income - how is it paid?
Hi,
If your only income is your occupational pension then your tax code would be operated against this source and any tax deducted at source.
If for some reason the correct tax was not dedcuted then yes you can make direct payment rather than collect through your tax code.
Thank you. -
RE: Dividend tax calculation error in online SA?
Hi,
It depends on the other income reported as this may still be the most beneficial tax deduction.
You should submit the return and allow 72 hours to then contact our Self Assessment team direct to review it.

RE: Self Assessment for Property Income - Savings Tax and Tax Code
Hi,- You would need to include the expense or allowance that was included in your tax code on the Self Assessment. For example it the amount in your code was for job expenses then you would need to include the job expenses when completing the tax return.
- You would include the untaxed interest figure on the Self Assessment to calculate any tax due.
