RE: Is it a legal requirement to complete SA109 if it will not have any effect on tax due?
Hi,
Yes, you need to include the SA109 in order to confirm you are entitled to personal allowances. You dont need to declare that you are a british citizen as you can tick box 15 or 16 in order to claim the allowances. As you have already confirmed you havebased your resdience on the SRT, your own knowledge is acceptable.
Thank you. -

RE: Online NI CF83 - Completed - Next step? Not yet contacted by HMRC
Hi,
As you are wishing to pay overseas voluntary National Insurance contributions, the 18 Digit Reference Number that you would use is: Your National Insurance Number, followed by the initials IC, then your surname and Initial. If your surname is too long then please use as much of it as possible.
Thank you. -
RE: Order for employer national insurance (stock options exercise)
Hi,
Unfortunately this isn’t something we can advise via the forum.
NI will be due on all NI’able earnings within the period of their pay.
If they earn more in one month to another has no bearing on NI deductions.
There is more information needed before full response can be given.
There is more information here:

RE: Investor (neither employed nor self-employed) eligibility for voluntary Class 2 NICs
Hi,
This is not something that can be advised on via this forum. We need specific information about you and your circumstances before this can happen.
If you are wanting to register as Self employed you can look at the information available at GOV.UK
If you need to declare tax but not be registered as self-employed you will still need to register for self assessment.
Check how to register for Self Assessment
If you are still unsure you will need to contact us directly via telephone or in writing.
Thank you.
