The code issued on 28 July 2023 will be for the current 2023 to 2024 tax year so the details would not be for your 2022 to 2023 Self Assessment tax return. If you are unable to view the 2022 to 2023 tax code online then you will need to contact our Self Assessment team to check the entries for the Self Assessment tax return.

Your bank and building societies will report your untaxed interest details after the tax year has ended to HMRC and if you do not complete a Self Assessment tax return we will review your records and issue a calculation if tax is underpaid or overpaid.
