Hi,
Ensure that you have declared your marital status at the start of your return as this will allow you to complete the Marriage Allowance section towards the end of the return.
If your wife completes a Self Assessment return, she will need to file her return before the transfer of allowances appears on your own calculation. If the transfer still does not appear your wife will need to contact our Self Assessment team.
