Hi,
To enable us to amalgamate both of your National Insurance Numbers please send us a letter quoting

date of birth

Our Team will then be able to send you a reply with the National Insurance Number that you should use from now on.
You will keep the same National Insurance Number throughout your life.
Our postal address is:

RE: Class 2 NI payment allocated to NI record using the wrong class: How to get this corrected?
Hi,
Sorry that your payment of voluntary National Insurance contributions was not allocated as you wished.
If you could call our National Insurance Helpline on 0300 200 3500 (from the UK) or +44 191 203 7010 (from overseas) then they will be able to
arrange for your payment to be corrected.
Thank you. -
RE: Incorrect Class for NI contributions showing on my record
Hi,
Your Personal Tax Account (PTA) will always show any shortfalls of voluntary National Insurance contributions at the class 3 rate.
If you have a letter from our International Teams to say that you may pay at the voluntary class 2 rate then please use these rates rather than the ones on the PTA.
Sorry for any confusion.
Thank you. -
