RE: Cash gifts received from abroad
Hi Diego Sanchez-Ancoc,
There are no income tax implications on the receipt of a cash gift unless the cash gift generates interest or dividends.
These would then potentially be subject to tax.
Further guidance can be found here Tax on savings interest and Tax on dividends.

RE: HS304 claim form or DT-individual form for interest full tax relief (non-resident landlord)?
Hi nickkaz,
As non resident and completing the SA109, the interest declared will show as disregarded income in the calculation.
There is no need for the HS304 unless you want this as a double safeguard.
You won't include the income again on the SA109.
If enclosing the HS304, you do need to do this each year.
Thank you. -

RE: Made a mistake regarding residency, how to report it?
Hi snaximander85,
You would need to send this information in to HMRC in writing and include SA109 if you feel your residence is incorrect on your tax returns.
Write to HMRC at this address for all Income Tax queries except complaints.
You do not need to include a street name, city name or PO box when writing to this address.
