These would then potentially be subject to tax.

It is only where you exceed the pension threshold, that you need to declare the excess on SA101 additonal information. As long a you remain within the revised threshhold, there is nothing to report on the tax return. -

The whole return must be submitted together and in the same format. The paper deadlne of 31 October applies unless you wish to buy 3rd party software to file online. -

Yes you will declare the income on the SA106. The difference in the tax is down to legislation. -
