The trust may have capital gains tax to pay on the gift of the shares to you. You would use the market value at the time they were gifted to you for you to work out your gain, when you dispose of them. -

The NT code is what is issued to UK income upon receipt of the DTA claim where applicable. a certificate of residence does not issue a tax code. -

You need to declare ALL UK income on the tax return and as non resdient you will need to file a paper return or buy 3rd party software to file online as the residence page is required.For paper returns, it is page 3 and for online, you need to tailor the return at section 3 to say that you have this type of income.
