Hi Adin 34, that link is not relevant for finding out how long you are taking to process cheques and update national insurance records. -
RE: Paying Class 2 contributions methods
Hi, I paid class 2 contributions by cheque with a covering letter to fill in gaps in my record. Cheque was cashed 10 weeks ago but still no sign of my record being updated when i check online. How long should i expect to wait to see this happen? I also requested a receipt and have received nothing. I am not reaching pension age for 6 years so not sure if this is making me a low priority to be actioned. Thanks in advance -
RE: Paying Class 2 contributions methods
Hi, I've been approved to pay voluntary class 2 contributions while living and working abroad. I sent a cheque with my national insurance number on the back and a covering letter as advised by the future pension person I contacted. This was just over 4 weeks ago but the cheque has not been cashed yet. Allowing a couple of weeks for you to receive the cheque how long should I expect for this to be processed and cashed. Thanks in advance -
RE: Class 3 voluntary NI Contributions - Delay in Processing
What are the current processing times for non eu residents after receiving an application to pay voluntary national insurance contributions? I have made an application which included proof of employment and called later that year and was advised it had been received by hmrc around March 2023 and was waiting to be processed but am still waiting for a response. Thanks -
RE: Double Taxation: Treaty Relief (Form DT-Individual)
From my experience it depends on the situation as to whether you have a backlog or not. When I actioned my pension earlier this year my tax code was amended and I'd received a letter in Australia within 2 weeks advising I had a tax debt. By the way pjb12345 I'm still waiting and I've used the link provided and had no reply apart from the automated response to say it had been received. -
RE: Double Taxation: Treaty Relief (Form DT-Individual)
Hi, I've filled in a application for relief at source from UK tax (Form Australia Individual). This has been stamped and forwarded to HMRC from the ATO several months ago but my tax code hasn't been amended. Do I need to do anything to get an NT tax code or will this happen automatically when the form has been processed by you ? -
RE: Retroactive National Insurance Class 2 Voluntary Contributions (pension gaps)
Hi I have read this document but I am asking the specific question as to if I can make retrospective class 2 contributions for years that I was working if I am no longer working now. This document does not address this question. -
