You do not deduct the PSA this will automatically be given in the calculation. If you need more help understanding declaring foreign interest then you will need to contact HMRC Self Assessment: general enquiries or you can view the notes and helpsheets online Self Assessment tax return forms.

Yes this will be taken into account when calculating your adjusted net income.
Yes if the pension contributions are made before your tax is calculated then if increased this will change your adjusted net income Personal Allowances: adjusted net income.

If you have payments on account and your circumstances have changed and the payments on account will now be more than the expected balance due then you can make a request to reduce Understand your Self Assessment tax bill Contents.

RE: UTR, Business Tax Account, Personal Tax account
Hi L lyluk2023,
If the links do not apply to you then you do not need to access them.
Yes you can complete your Self Assessment online. You will need to enrol through your online account Personal tax account: sign in or set up to do this.
Once enrolled you will received an activation code that will allow you to submit your tax return online. If you do not need to complete the SA109 then you can file using HMRC software.

RE: Queries for TOR application

Please see below responses to your queries.
1. Your TOR approval (if granted) will cover both, goods in transit and accompanied.
2. Yes you can contact TOR team after the approval to make changes, their contact details will be on approval letter.
3. Yes, there is a section of pets on TOR application.
4. Yes you can amend details after the approval.
5. If application is still in process when you travel, you may have to pay customs charges which you can claim back once you receive TOR approval.

You can use trade tariff to check if there are any import controls on the commodities exported from UK.
Trade Tariff: look up commodity codes, duty and VAT rates.

RE: Customs charge on personal items purchased in UK

If the items were purchased in UK and taxes were paid then upon return to UK you could look in to returned goods relief.
Pay less import duty and VAT when re-importing goods to the UK
You can check with Parcelforce if it is possible to claim the relief now or you can look in to paying the charges and claiming a repayment.
Report incorrect Customs Duty or VAT on items imported by post (BOR286).
