RE: Contacting HM Revenue & Customs from abroad, class 3NICs shortfall rates
Hi,
Unfortunately, it’s taking about 32 weeks for a payment of voluntary National Insurance contributions to be allocated to a National Insurance account. So there will be a delay before they are shown on your Personal Tax Account.
Thank you. -
RE: Help filling CF83 dates
Hi,
Please give as accurate as date as possible on your periods overseas and periods of overseas employment but if you can only remember the month and year then this would be fine.
Ensure that you return your CF83 application form to us so that we receive it before 5 April 2025.
Thank you.

RE: FIG and mutual fund gains
Hi,
Once you return to the UK, if resident and domiciled, you are liable on your worldwide income so any foreign income would need to be declared in a tax return.
You do nOt need to declare the transfer of the capital to the UK but you do need to report any interest or dividends that this then generates.
Thank you. -
RE: UK income tax on periodic pension payments received from Canadian RRIF

Please refer to:

You would declare the income, in sterling, on a tax return under foreign income.
