Re:Tax on sold shares.
Hi,
The £346.79 will be declared as this is part of your P60 - you dont include it anywhere else.
You also declare the dividend received.
The £529.01 is below the capital gains allowance so you dont need to declare this.
Thank you. -
Re:Chargeable event gain insurance surrender value
Hi,
Yes. The 'arising basis' would confirm that you would report the chargeable event gains in the tax return for the tax year in which the policies matured and not when the monies were remitted to the UK. March 2023, falls in the 2023 to 2024 tax year.
To declare in a self assessment tax return, will require that you convert from HKD to pounds sterling.
You would convert the figures showing on the chargeable event certificate.
Thank you. -

Re:Request for Certificate of Residence in the UK (CoR)
Hi,
You cannot submit a request for a certificare of residence in advance of the disposal of the property, only after the propert is disposed of.
We cannot issue them for a future date. A Social Tax is now charged when customers sell properties in France.
To reduce the amount of this charge documentation confirming that an individual was resident in the UK when the property was sold and certifying the individual meets the conditions of UK social security legislation under Article 10.3 of the Trade and Cooperation Agreement with the EU is being requested.
Claimants should submit CA8421 for action and not a Certificate Of Residence.
For further information you should contact 0300 200 3500.

Re:Voluntary redeployment ndancycand LGPS lump sum
Hi,
The redundancy exempt amount only applies to the actual redundancy payment and not the pension lump sum. you would need to check the conditions on your lump sum to see if any of this is tax free or not.
Thank you.
