RE: Expenses clarification
Hi
You can submit your best estimates in the self assessment tax return for those tax years and if HMRC opens an enquiry, you may have to justify the expenses claimed at that time.

RE: Working for German company, occasionally from home office in UK
Hi
You would need to review the guidance on residency, to determine how this income will be taxable.
If you are taxable in the UK on the employment income arising while you are physically in Germany, then you would need to declare this income in a self assessment tax return and claim a foreign tax credit.
Please have a look at 1. Statutory Residence Test (SRT).

RE: How long for a paper Partership return SA800 to show as 'received' online
Hi
All paper post is digitally scanned into our electronic post service, for manual processing.
It would appear from what you mention, that two of the tax returns were processed and appear online, If all three were in the same envelope, we should have the remaining return on hand.
You would need to progress chase this via our self assesment helpline on 0300 200 3310 or through our webchat facility at Contact HMRC.
Thank you
