RE: Director of Ltd company working from home
Hi
A company director may be able to account for homeworking expenses incurred while running the business however this will depend on the circumstances.
For example, whether there is a rental agreement set up between the director and the limited company. Information on working from home expenses can be found at EIM01476 (EIM01476 - Employment income: household expenses: how much can be reimbursed). We do not give tax planning advice, you may need to speak with a financial/tax advisor.

RE: CT600 For Property Rental Business
Hi
As property expenses are not trading losses this proposal is incorrect.
You should contact your software provider to see if an enhancement/upgrade for property companies is available, if not you will need to purchase software which allows you to file correctly or engage the services of a third party to file on your behalf.

RE: First year corporation tax return
Hi
If the company did not start until 1/4/23 you can contact us to mark the pre trading period as dormant and submit one return for 1/4/23 to 31/10/23. Information can be found on our website at Dormant companies and associations.
It is not too late to advise us of this.
Thank you
