As an estimnate it will be based on the estimated income for the tax year. At the tax year end once HMRC receives your pay and tax details we will review your record and if overpaid a calculation will be issued to you with details of how to claim the refund.

RE: Using the on-line appeal form for self assesment penalties
Hi
If the online form is only allowing you to appeal against one penalty at a time then you would need to submit a claim for each penalty.
The date would be the date of issue. If you want to submit an appeal for all penalties at the sam time you can submit a letter with a breakdown of the penalties and the reason for the appeal.
If after the 30 days you can include the reason why appealing late. The address to submti the letter to is HMRC, Self Assessment & PAYE, BX9 1AS UK

If your gross income from your self employment was less than £1000 then you may not need to complete a Self Assessment.

When your employment ends in June 2024 if you will be leaving the UK then you can complete a form P85 to claim any repayment due
