RE: Self employed UK Resident working temporarily overseas through UK agency
Hi,
Please report the income you receive in the Self Employed pages (SA103) of your Self Assessment tax return.
If any overseas tax is deducted, you can claim Foreign Tax Credit Relief in the ' Foreign tax paid on employment, self-employment and other income' section of the Foreign pages (SA106).

RE: P85 Nil Tax Code Query
Hi,
As explained previously, the tax treaty between the UK and Thailand does not include an article on pensions or other income.
This means that there is no double taxation relief for pensions, lumps sums, trivial commutations or state pension.
Therefore, as a resident of Thailand, you are not eligible for a 'nil tax code' (ie an NT tax code) and your SIPP continues to be taxable in the UK.
