RE: allocation description for second payment on account
Hi,
When your second payment on account becomes due on the 31st of July, any credit on your statement, inluding the payment you have made, will automatically be allocated to that second payment on account. If you would like us to review and confirm the amounts present on your statement please contact our Self Assessment team.

Hi,
If the overseas bank account generates interest then this is foreign income and you would declare your share.
The actual funds that your husband transfers for upkeep is not foreign income.

RE: My Self-Assessment may have been wrong!
Hi,
If your employer deducts the pension contributions before your tax is calculated then relief will already have been given and no entry is needed on your Self Assessment tax return.
If the pension contribution are made from your net pay then you would make the claim for relief on your tax return.

RE: Still no UTR number
Hi,
While it usually takes between 10 and 15 days to receive your UTR once you have registered, it can take as long as 28 days during periods when we receive a higher amount of registration requests. If you still have not received your UTR, it is possible that there was an error in your application. Please contact our Self Assessment team us so we can review this for you.

RE: CGT On Property Sale
Hi,
Your assumptions would be correct. However, you also need to look at the gain you made when you sold 50% share to your partner in 2015 as this is still a gain that would need to be reported.
