As you owned it prior to 2015, you can use the rebasing rule, if so, you cannot include any costs prior to 06/04/2015.

You will now need to report using a full tax return by 31/1/25.

If you are reporting as capital losses, yes. for the property return, the losses must have happened before the sale of the property.
If not, you will need to wait to report the details in your tax return.
