Any disposals of assets other than residential property and Carried Interest that occur before that date, inlcuding previous tax years, will be chargeable to capital gains tax at 10% and 20%. Any disposals arising on or after 30 october 2024 will be taxed at the new rates from that date.
The main rates of CGT that apply to assets other than residential property and Carried Interest will change from 10% and 20% to 18% and 24% respectively.

RE: Pension Contributions Only Paid by Director
Hi,
Employers contribution to a UK registered pension scheme - is not a benefit in kind and will not go on the P11D.
It needs to be report to the pension scheme as a employers contribution, not a personal contribution.
You need to contact the pension scheme for how they want you to report it to them.

RE: Inherited property 1982. Only property since 2019. Sold 2024. Calculate Gain for CGT?
Hi,
Your aquistion cost will be your share of the probate value from your mother's will, plus the probate value of your share from your sister's will, plus the value of the share to buy out your brother.
You can claim private residence relief for the period that the property was your main home, have a look at helpsshett HS283 (HS283 Private Residence Relief (2024)).
There is a capital gains calculator at Tax when you sell property, which link in to registering, reporting and paying the capital gains tax online.
