    Hi,
Acting as the Employer, the customer should call the Employers Helpline to discuss submitting a delayed payroll return and see what time limits etc may be in place.

If they are able to submit payroll returns then the customer’s individual NI record will be updated from that.

  • RE:What year should I choose to pay the missing year?

    Hi,
I would advise to obtain a State Pension Forecast from The Pension Service to determine which tax years would be most beneficial for you to make
    voluntary National Insurance contributions for.
You may obtain the State Pension Forecast via Check your State Pension forecast
    Thank you.

  • RE: Specified Adult Child Care Credits

    Hi,
An application for SACC will be rejected if the original Child Benefit claimant does not have a full qualifying year in their own right (ie without the Class 3 credits).
In this case it would appear the daughter needed the Cl3 credits to make 23/24 a full year on her own record, therefore nobody can claim SACC in that year.
If an application for SACC in relation to another daughter goes through then the year will be made a qualifying year, however if this is done after she has started receiving the state pension any decision on backdating the award is a matter for The Pension Service/DWP.
    Thank  you.

    Hi classwho,

  • RE: Do I need to pay the gaps in my national insurance contribution record

    Hi,
Your State Pension Forecast should advise you of your current entitlement to a UK State Pension.
If you don’t have a full entitlement then it should detail how many more tax years that you will need to get the full entitlement.
If you wish to discuss your State Pension entitlement then you may wish to call Future Pension Centre Helpline on 0800 7310175 (from the UK)
or +44 191 2183600 (from overseas) and they will be able to help you.
    Thank you.
