RE: U1 Form
Hi najm,
Unfortunately, without checking your records, I am unable to see what position your application is at.
I would suggest that you contact the National Insurance helpline again and ask them to find out why your latest application was closed, and ask them to make arrangements with the International Caseworker team, for your application to be processed.
Thank you.

RE: Deadline date for submitting CF38 Form
Hi,
It is not too late to submit form CF83.
To be considered for earlier tax years (2006-07 to 2018-2019) your CF83 application form will need to be received by HMRC on or before 05/04/2025.
Thank you.

RE: Owns a company and working for an employer
Hi.
At the end of the tax year, you would file a Self Assessment tax return, declaring any income you had made through your own company.
You must also declare in this return the income you earned working for your employer, and the tax you paid on this income.
Doing so ensures you are not over or under taxed on the income you make from your own company.
You can read more here - Completing your Self Assessment tax return.
Thank you. -
RE: when to register for self assessment to pay dividend tax
Hi,
While you can file a Self Assessment return if you choose to do so, (and the dates above would apply if you do), please be aware that your Self Assessment record may be automatically closed after filing if our systems do not detect any actual Self Assessment criteria.
Thank you. -
RE: Taking care of a relative's child - Is this income taxable for self-assessment?
Hi,
As a payment on account is a predicted amount of tax for the following year, you cannot opt to pay this through a tax code - you can only request to code balancing payments for years with confirmed calculations. You can read more here - Pay your Self Assessment tax bill
Thank you. -

RE: Payment arrears for closed tax year - implications for Child Benefit tax charge
Hi,
The income is taxed on a receipts basis which means it is taxed in the year it is paid.
It would only affect earlier years should you wish to have it allocated to the years that it actually relates to if this is more beneficial to you.
If you were to have it backdated, this cannot be done until after 5/4/25 when your full years income details are held.
Thank you.
