RE: Self assessment- company director
Hi Nannymc,
Not for that reason.
To ensure that you do not need to complete a tax return, you can use the self assessment criteria tool to confirm if one is required or not.
It can be found at Check if you need to send a Self Assessment tax return

RE: How to add tax refund for SIPP payments into my SIPP for higher tax payer
Hi kwaku fa,
No. You are claiming tax relief, as you pay tax at the higher rate. Any tax overpaid, as a result of claiming the relief, can only be paid to you.
Thank you. -
RE: Self Assessment and "payments on account" already made
Hi
The tax return doesn't take into account any payments made direct by you. this is reflected on your statement so once you submit the return and the system updates you will be able to see the revised balance due along with any payments on account for 23/24.
Thank you. -
RE: Tax year before my arrival in the UK for carry forward unused Annual Allowance
Hi,
In order to qualify for the annual allowance for pension, you must be a member of any registered pension schemes or overseas pension schemes that are not UK registered pension schemes but contain UK tax-relieved funds. As you state you had no contributions and no income, it would suggest that you were not a member and as such have no unused allowance for 19/20.
