RE: Reverse charge-freight services
Hi QQask,
If you are receiving a shipping services charged at the zero rate of VAT then this would not be subject to the reverse charge as the supply is a UK supply by the shipping agent and has been applied at the zero rate so not relevant to reverse charge.
Please see below:
Place of supply of services (VAT Notice 741A) 5. Reverse charge
Thank you.

RE: VAT Registration Questions about Crossing Threshold
Hi commercial Specialist,
At the moment you have not breached the Registration threshold and you also don't expect your taxable supplies to breach the threshold in the next 30 days alone.
You are therefore making a voluntary registration even though you know there will be a requirement to register for VAT in the middle of February.
You can therefore choose the date which you want to register for VAT from.
Please see the guidance below:
3. Working out whether you need to register
Thank you.

RE: New Gateway ID computer loop problem
Hi Marymary,
As part of a rolling programme of security improvements, HMRC is limiting access to Personal Tax Accounts (PTA) to one set of sign in details for the Government Gateway (GG), (this is a GG user ID and password).
Until now, it has been possible for a customer to have more than one sign in for the GG to access their PTA. This often happens if, for example, they have forgotten or lost their user ID or password and set up a new credential rather than recovering the existing one.
Having just one sign in makes it easier for customers to remember and recover forgotten details. This change also makes it easier for us to protect customer accounts.
Please call Online Services helpdesk 0300 200 3600 where we will be able to assist you
Thank you. -

If you live outside of the EU then your UK State Pension may be frozen in most countries.
You would receive the rate applicable when you claimed your UK State Pension which would then be frozen.
Some details may be found on the following weblink: Countries where we pay an annual increase in the State Pension
More information is available from The Pension Service so you may wish to give their International Pension Centre a call on +44 191 2187777.
You may like to check your current and future entitlement to a UK State Pension, the following weblink details how to do this: Check your State Pension forecast
