RE: Zero rate of VAT for solar panel products
Hi John boyce,
The location of the solar panels does not change the purpose or use so would still fall within the relief of the single supply.

RE: Wrong tax code used in tax return 2022-2023
Hi SurreyFox,
Your 1275L coding notice should specify what the additional allowances of 180 applied to your code were for.
If these extra allowances were correct, just add them to your tax return. If the extra allowances were not correct, and your employer operated the code with these additional allowances, you may have to repay the tax due after filing your return.
Thank you. -

RE: Overpaid Tax from 2021-2022
Hi Wingman30,
When you amend the tax return it will calculate the lower balance due which will then be reflected on the statement.
On the statement it will show the payments made and then show any refund due.

RE: Application for a certificate of residence - timescale
Hi Nidhi Gupta,
We generally aim to deal with applications for certificates of residence within 15 working days from the date of receipt.
This timescale is extended to 30 working days for certificates that require a wet-ink signature.
It may take us longer to deal with your request if we need to carry out further checks.
If our timescale has passed and you want to enquire about the progress of your application, you can call us on 0300 200 3410.
Please do not send us a copy of your application unless you have been instructed to do so by HMRC.

RE: Double taxation relief for corporation tax
Hi Indre Sim,
The company tax return does not include a supplementary page specifically for double-taxation relief.
Companies claim relief by completing box 450 of the CT600.
Your computations should include a detailed calculation of this figure, including details of any underlying tax relief.
If you wish to include any supporting documents, you can attach them to the tax return.
You can find a guide to completing the company tax return atThe Company Tax Return guide.
Thank you.
