RE:Taxation of US Military compensation payments when declared during the visa process
Hi Logan,
This income sounds similar to a UK war pension/armed forces disability pension and is not taxable in the UK.
We cannot comment on future events as legislation and/or plans may change.
Thank you. -
RE:Ltd Company
Hi MaltyMany,
From the limited information it would appear that the dividends are not part of the inheritance as you state all cash was distributed.
You would therefore need to declare the dividends received.
Should further advice be required, you should contact us direct on 0300 200 3310 as more information is required.
Thank you. -
RE:CGT on shares that should have been transferred at time funds were transferred
Hi Samantha Hayward,
No, the initial purchase is in your name only.
If you had submitted an declaration of beneficial ownership to show an alternative split at the time, this could have been done but it cannot be applied retrospectively.
Thank you. -
RE:Change in Child Benefit salary limits - claim back repayments?
Hi 1970sDad,
No, as you would have been charged this based on the limits of 60k being applicable for those years.

RE: Carry forward pension contributions
Hi chris ford,
You are correct in adding 3 years of £4000 to the threshold of £60000.
Your earnings in 23/24 would need to be £60000 or more.
Thank you. -
