Hi
If you re-apply for the employee via HMRC for both the A1 and S1.
The NHS will not issue a S1 for employees and this may be what they were referring to.
Complete both applications online as per normal.

Hi Stephen,
If you cannot access the interest, the date it is paid is the tax year that it is classed as income and it is all the interest that is paid.
This is not apportioned over the term of the account.
So the account that matures 1/8/24 will all be taxable in 2024/25. the one for November 25 will be 2025/26.

If the underpayment is in your current 2024/25 tax code then this will not be amount of underpaid tax for earlier years included in your tax code for 2023-24 (from your PAYE Notice of Coding).
