RE: Tax rebate question
Hi N S Juty,
If your return calculated an overpayment, this overpayment will have been added to your statement.
This overpayment will then have been applied against your 2nd Payment On Account , after which the remainder should be claimable as a credit.
To allow us to confirm this, we would need to review your statement.
Please contact us by webchat or phone here to allow us to do this:

Hi BJ Ley,
Your wife will work out her gain the same as you.
Their gain will be calculated on the difference in value between when you first owned the asset and when they disposed of it.

RE: US employee working in UK with VISA D Business Mobility
Hi Raakhi,
You are correct.
Yes the benefits would need to be declared and if on the UK payrol you will receive a P11D from your employer showing these.
You will include them on the employment section of the return. answer 'YES' to receiving benefits and it opens other boxes for you to declare.
Thank you. -

RE: IHT CGT and Deed of Appropriation
Hi motherbear,
You would need to specify on the deed of appropriation that it applies to the house only and the document needs to be suigned by all parties concerned.
You should discuss this further with a solicitor.
Thank you.
