It means you cannot claim the gift as a reduction in the amount of gain that you pay.
You have sold the asset and then transferred the proceeds.
You do not need to declare what you have done with the proceeds. -

If you qulaify for personal allowances, these would also be included in any tax calculation.
Have a look at the SA109 notes for boxes 15 and 16, to see if you can claim personal allowances. -

You can transfer this money to your UK bank and not have to pay UK tax on it. -

The full time employment at the hotel, should be entered as employment.
You should have a P60 or P45 with your pay and tax.
If the paid extra work as self employed, exceeds £1000, then you would declare this as self employment and tailor your tax return to include self employment.
If it does not exceed £1000, then you do not need to declare it.

You can only have one residential property capital gains account.
Within it, you can create new transactions to report and pay residential property tax.
You will need to log into the capital gains account.
The CGT account reference number can be found from the taxpayers dashboard within the online service andwill displat the total left to pay, so that you can click on the make payment button should you have more tax to pay. -

You would need to consider seeking out professional advice, if you disagree with our replies.
If the money in the Turkish bank account was generated from income in a tax year that your wife was not resident in the UK, then it would not be taxable if tranferred to the UK.
Any interest the savings generate in the UK, will be subject to income tax.
