RE: income tax from property if the income is not paid to my account
Hi
Thank you for your question.
You do not have to declare and pay tax on the income from this property if it is all received by your father.
You may wish to note, however, that if the property is disposed of in future you may incur a liability to Capital Gains Tax on any gain arising on the disposal of your share of the property. -

RE paid NI on Medical benefits in error
Hi
If your employer has payrolled the medical benefit in error, and have subsequently completed FPS amendments to correct this, they are responsible for refunding the overpaid NI to their employees.
The FPS amendments create a refund on your employer's PAYE account by reversing the previous liabilities declared in error.
As your employer had deducted national insurance and paid to HMRC at that time, the reduction in liability, creates an credit.
The employer can either offset or claim back the refund from HMRC.
You should speak with your employer in order to get the refund back.
If your employer requires any further assistance, please ask them to contact the Employer Helpline on 0300 200 3200. -

Re: HMRC letters to overseas companies
Hi
HMRC can send letters to an address in the UK or abroad.
It depends on what address we hold on our systems.
Initial registration letters or authorisation codes are always sent to an employer's business trading address for security reasons.
If the address is abroad, the letter can take up to 28 days to be received.
If the address is in the UK, the letter should be received within 3-5 working days. -
RE: IR35 Customer
Hi
If the workers are providing a personal service via their own intermediary, then IR35 rules may apply to the engagement.
As to who is responsible for completing the checks, depends on whether the end client is based in the public or private sector.
The only time the onus falls to the worker's personal service company, is where the end client/hirer is classed as a small company in the private sector.
In all other instances, the end client/hirer is responsible for completing CEST.
If you require any further assistance, please contact the IR35 Helpline on 0300 123 2326. -
