Re: Confirmation of taxes charged by OTOFPR Limited on Trading
Hi,
They should provide written evidence that tax has in fact been paid to HMRC rather then British Tax Bureau as this is not a government tax department.
You can then send that evidence to HMRC to allocate to your records if applicable.
Thank you. -

Re:Working in KSA
Hi,
You will need to review the guidance on statutory residence and tax the statutory residence tests, to determine whether you will be UK tax resident for the full tax year or not.
From there you can review whether split year treatment applies.
This guidance will also help you work out how many days you can spend in the UK and not be classes as tax resident.
The number of days will depend on your personal circumstances.
The days outside the UK on holiday will count towards the number of days in the UK:
RDR3 Statutory Residence Test

Hi,
We cannot advise on your investment plan. You should discuss with the investment plan provider.

Re:Tax on sold shares.
Hi,
The £346.79 will be declared as this is part of your P60 - you dont include it anywhere else.
You also declare the dividend received.
The £529.01 is below the capital gains allowance so you dont need to declare this.
Thank you. -
Re:Chargeable event gain insurance surrender value
Hi,
Yes. The 'arising basis' would confirm that you would report the chargeable event gains in the tax return for the tax year in which the policies matured and not when the monies were remitted to the UK. March 2023, falls in the 2023 to 2024 tax year.
To declare in a self assessment tax return, will require that you convert from HKD to pounds sterling.
You would convert the figures showing on the chargeable event certificate.
Thank you.
