RE:How to amend submitted Self Assessment for foreign income
Hi Chandra Prasad,
You are correct in that you can amend your 21/22 tax return up to 31 january 2024.
After that date, any changes will need to be in writing, so that they can be calculated manually.
Thank you.

RE:Uk Defined benefit pension for Spanish resident
Hi Simon422433,
No, you will have to wait until the pension has commenced, before sending the DT individual UK/Spain to the Spanish tax authorities.
Double Taxation: UK - Spain (Form Spain-Individual)
The validated form will be returned to you with a ""Residencia Fiscal En Espana convenio"". The completed DT form and the RFEEC certificate should then be sent to HMRC.
Only when the pension is live, will the pension apppear on your HMRC records, so that a code NT can be issued.
Any tax deducted , by the pension provide, will then be refunded to you.
Thank you.

RE:Missed CGT reporting deadline but file SA - is CGT report still required?
Hi Arti,
Strictly speaking yes, so that you can be charged late filing and late payment penalties and interest, which you can appeal.
This is so that people who declared their gain and paid their tax within 60 days are not disadvantaged by someone circumventing the online service.
Thank you.
