Hi, I wrote to HMRC a few months ago requesting to register as an agent for Self Assessment purposes and requested an agent code for HMRC Online Services. I have not received a response and it is becoming quite urgent. Please can someone look into this? Holly Hampton, on behalf of HG Tax Services

Dear team I applied for my agent codes on July 4tb 2024. Two weeks a go I was asked to provide further detail which I send to the address, it’s more than two months since I applied and no response. Please track my application and let me know the progress Regards

Hi, I registered as an online agent a few months ago and have received my codes for Self Assessment and Corporation Tax and have used the online agent login to confirm authorisation from clients, however, the code that I received is not working when the clients are trying to enter the agent ID code on their self assessment. Please can you advise as at present when i contact HMRC on behalf of my clients I am being refused assistance. Thank you. Luke, Jackson Accounting Services Ltd

Thank you for responding - I have attempted to get through the Agent Line but no one will speak to me as they claim it is for dealing with enquiries about clients rather than issues for the agent. Is there a phone line for agent account assistance?
