I am not sure whether I need to submit self assessment to HMRC in 2022/2023. I came to the UK in August 2022 and deemed to be tax resident in 2022/2023. I didn't earn any income from employment but I do have some saving interest received from banks in UK and HK in 2022/2023. These interests are far lower than the personal allowances and personal saving allowances and I shouldn't be liable to pay any tax on them. In such case, can you advise me whether I still need to submit self assessment to HMRC in 2022/2023? Thanks.
